Nairobi to Tsavo
Depart Nairobi at 0700hrs; drive southwest to Tsavo National park after breakfast. Check in and have a bite to eat. Take a game drive in the afternoon. Return to Camp, unwind, eat, and take in the environment. Spend the night in a 3-star lodge or Camp that is family-friendly.
Fullday In Tsavo
A Land of Lava, Springs, Man-Eaters, and Spectacular Sunsets" Tsavo West is a stunning, rocky environment, with fifty million gallons of pure crystal water streaming out of the under-parched lava rock from the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows. Open grasslands, scrublands, Acacia forests, riverine vegetation belts, and rocky ridges, like the Poacher's Lookout, where tourists may see the teeming herds in the plains below, make up the savannah habitat. Elephants, rhinos, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, and various plant and bird species, including the vulnerable corncrake and the near-threatened Basra Reed Warbler, are among the attractions of Tsavo West. All meals at the Camp.
